A Tempranillo blend hailing from the Castillo Y Leon region of Spain. Tempranillo, tends to be more like a cabernet sauvignon than most folks expect, and can benefit from a few years of age. When it's time, it can have a very hearty flavor with plenty of backbone and spice, as well as dark fruit flavors and notes. This one sits nicely at 12.5% ABV which allows a greater appreciation of the fruit.
